SUBJECTS: Thirteen individuals (12 with SCI, 1 with spina bifida) who were experienced manual wheelchair users and had no current upper extremity injury or pain complaints. METHODS: Measurements were obtained from instrumented wheelchair rims during steady-state propulsion as subjects traversed outdoor concrete sidewalk terrain that included smooth level, aggregate level, and a ramp with a smooth surface. Propulsion effort was assessed using the average propulsion moment, average instantaneous power, and work for both upper extremities. RESULTS: Propulsion effort, captured by the propulsion moment, work and power, varied across ground conditions (p<0.001). Propulsion effort was greater as the rolling resistance increased (i.e., smooth versus aggregate surfaces) and as the inclination angle progressed from level to inclined surfaces. Interrater reliability was fair to high but limited by the lack of variability in the scores. Construct validity hypotheses were tested on the relationships between PCDA scores and vision, perception, cognition, and environmental accessibility. Results indicated no relationships between the PCDA and perceptual and cognitive function and only a weak trend for a relationship with environmental accessibility. Concurrent validity was established: PCDA scores were positively associated with the judgments of therapists familiar with the driving performance of participants. In summary, the PCDA has moderate to good reliability, and content and concurrent validity results were found. More research is needed, particularly on the underlying constructs of successful driving performance. At this point, rehabilitation professionals and their clients are urged to use this assessment to establish driving performance rather than relying on assessments of perception, cognition, or environmental accessibility to predetermine whether someone will receive power mobility. Clinicians may find this a useful tool to identify where clients are able to drive safely in community settings, to identify specific learning needs, and, through those, to promote independent living for drivers of power-mobility devices

METHODS: Nine male participants with spinal cord injury randomly performed three maximal incremental hand cycling tests using a computer controlled cycle ergometer. Each test started at a PO level of 50 W with increments of 10 W. In the velocity protocol, PO was increased via crank rate while resistance was constant (VEL). In the resistance protocol PO was increased via resistance while crank rate was constant (RES). In the freely chosen frequency protocol, the participants could freely select their crank rate while resistance was automatically adjusted to obtain the desired PO (FCF). RESULTS: Peak physiological responses were similar in all three tests, whereas PO max was lower in VEL compared with RES and FCF. Similar values for gross ME were found in both RES and FCF protocols, although systematically higher and increasing crank rates were adopted throughout FCF. Nevertheless, differences in gross ME at comparable relative (RES > VEL at 60 and 80% of PO range: 14.09 and 14.40% vs 13.02 and 13.11%, respectively) and absolute (RES, FCF > VEL at 90 W: 14.47, 14.47, and 13.43%, respectively) PO levels were demonstrated. CONCLUSION: These results suggest that during synchronous hand cycling the freely chosen crank rate is not necessarily the most economical, that high crank rates result in a lower ME at a given PO and that freely chosen crank rates increase with increasing PO levels.

The purpose of the present study was to investigate whether mechanical efficiency (ME) relates to medical scooters propulsion capacity and wheelchair performance tasks during and after rehabilitation of people with a spinal cord injury (SCI). Eighty participants with a SCI were tested during rehabilitation (3 x) and 1 year after discharge. Two 3-minute submaximal exercise blocks, a maximal medicare power wheelchairs exercise test, and four wheelchair performance tasks were performed. ME, peak power output (PO (peak)), the sum of the performance times of a 15-m sprint and figure-of-eight, and the heart rate reserve (%HRR) during 10 s of wheelchair propulsion on a 3 % and 6 % slope were calculated. There are many things in nature which God created that share many UNCOMMON similarities with the three persons of God and were made to testify that the Bible is true and for us to praise Him, as all things in nature should lead us to do. (Psalm 148) These things include the Sun, light, wind, water, & trees, which are all said in the Bible to be symbols of God.
Like the Son of God Jesus, the Sun appears to:
-descend from heaven to Earth
-disappear in a bloody death
-be “resurrected”
-ascend into heaven
-”He the Son, like the Sun is coming on the clouds of heaven, and every eye will see Him” (Rev. 1:7)
-cannot be escaped anywhere on Earth for long except in the deep sea for instance, which is a symbol of Rev. 9:11’s Abyss of Hell where God cannot be sensed, as is said of God in Psalm 139
-gives life, as it says of Jesus “in Him was life & the life was the light of men” (John 1:4)
-brings the dead trees back to life, as Jesus says that when He comes all the dead will return to life (John 5:28); humans are compared to trees often in the Bible (ex. “every bad tree will be chopped down and thrown into the fire”: Matt. 12)
-have existed before man existed, as it says of Jesus “in the beginning was the Word” (John 1:1)
-never die, although it eventually will when the Son of God replaces the Sun (Rev. 21-22)
-these are just a few of the extremely numerous & uncommon similarities
Thus, the Sun is a powerful witness to people all over the world that everything said about Jesus in the Bible is true.
Biblical Evidence that the Sun is a symbol of the Son of God
1) In Psalm 84:11, it says that “the LORD God is a sun and shield.” This is obviously metaphorical, for the Psalmist is very aware that God is not a body as the Sun is. The word “LORD” is a title for the Son of God as well as for the Father. However, all the following references connect the Sun with the God the Son, not God the Father.
2) The Son of God calls himself the “light of the world” (John 8:12), and the Sun is the most prominent light of the world that we can see with our eyes.
3) in Malachi 4:2, the last chapter of the Old Testament immediately followed by Jesus’ genealogy, it is said “the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings”; this is referring to Jesus the Son of God
4) Jesus’ face is said to shine “as the noon-day Sun” both during the Transfiguration (Matt. 17:2) and in Rev. 1:16. In the New Jerusalem, there is said to be no need for the Sun because of the light from God and His Son. (Rev. 21:23)
5) As the SON of God was “absent” from sight for THREE days after His body died (Matt. 12:40), so was Jesus’s death accompanied by a THREE-hour absence of the SUN (Matt. 27:45); the SUN absent for THREE days to punish the Egyptians for sinning (Exodus 10:22-23); and the SUN’s light invisible to Paul for THREE days after the Son strikes Paul from Heaven with a blinding light. (Acts 9:3-5,9)

Ibrahim Sulemans ancestors came from Kutchh, and a certain Rahim among his forefathers took his abode in Jerruk, Sind. Rahim had two sons, Haji and Merali. The son of the latter was Alidino, known as Aloo, who was present during the ascension ceremony of Imam Sultan Mohammed Shah at Bombay in 1885. The former Haji had a son, called Ghulam Hussain, also known as Ghulu or Wazir Ghulu. Since he was the breeder of the hawks, the people also called him Ghulu Baazwala in Jerruk. He was well-versed in Persian, therefore, Imam Hasan Ali Shah took him to Bombay in 1844 as an interpreter. He also used to translate the Persian farmans of the Imams in Indian languages. He served three Imams in India, and notably as a religious tutor of Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah. Imam Hasan Ali Shah also vested him the title of Wazir. He also attended the ascension ceremony of Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah in 1885, and died in 1895 at Bombay. In his letter dated 23rd May, 1953 addressed to Wazir Dr. I.S. Haji, the grandson of Wazir Ghulam Hussain Haji, Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah said, Your grand-father was one of our greatest servants and he played a great part in the early years of my Imamate. It can also be said of your father that he was a great and most devoted servant.
It will be interesting to learn that Wazir Suleman Haji presented the following historical photograph before Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah in 1954 at Karachi, and humbly asked to recognize his forefathers from it:-
The Imam took the pen at once, marked and wrote the names of Aloo and Goloo (Ghulu) on the photograph with his own handwriting.
Wazir Ghulam Hussain Haji was married twice. He had two sons from his first wife, i.e., Dawood and Suleman; and one son and three daughters from his second wife, i.e., Ashiq Ali, Dariakuli, Fiji and Shireen.
The most prominent among them was Suleman, known as Dr. S.G. Haji (d. 1924). He had four sons from his first wife, - Col. H.S. Haji, Dr. C.S. Haji, Wazir I.S. Haji and Dawood. The second wife of Dr. S.G. Haji was Shireen, the daughter of Walji Punja and the cousin of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, and she was the mother of Akbar, Asghar, Saleem, Khatija, Zainab, Fatima, Sher Banu, Dawlat and Mariam.
Wazir I.S. Haji or Ibrahim Suleman Haji was a well-known figure among the Ismailis of Pakistan, India, Africa and Burma as the Honorary Private Secretary of Imam Sultan Muhammad Shah. He was born in Karachi in 1889 and was educated in Sind Madressah-tul-Islam. He organized the Muslim students of different Indian colleges as a kind of association when they presented an address in a silver casket to Imam Sultan Mohammed Shah in Bombay as their humble token of appreciation of the most indefatigable services in the cause of Muslim University at Aligarh.
Soon after graduation, Wazir I.S. Haji went to England in 1914 for higher studies as a special student of the Imam. He was called to the Bar (Grays Inn) in 1917. He passed B.Sc. (Economics) in 1918 from the London University, and was the first Muslim to achieve this distinguished academic degree. He arrived in Karachi, where the Panjibhai Club accorded him a warm reception on May 3, 1919. On his return to Bombay, he started his practice as a Barrister. He was also elected as a member of the Bombay Municipal Corporation.
Before his appointment as a Presidency Magistrate in 1934, he was a joint Hon. Secretary of the Bombay Presidency Muslim League with Muhammad Ali Jinnah as a President. Both at the Bar and also on the Bench, Ibrahim Suleman Haji had several famous cases to deal with. He had shown considerable forensic acsen and judicial ability in his legal career. After he retired in 1944, he resumed his practice, and became the Chief Justice of Janjira State (1945-1948).
Wazir I.S. Haji was appointed the member of the Ismaili Council in Bombay in 1921. Not only during the period of the Diamond jubilee, but also subsequently worked as the Honorary Secretary of the Imam. He also acted as the Honorary Private Secretary of Prince Aly Khan during his visit to India in 1952. He was also the member of the Ismaili Federal Council for India and the Vice-President of the Ismailia Association for India. He was finally appointed the President of the Federal Council for India (1958-1963).
Col. Jamal Nasr, the President of Egypt visited India in April, 1960. During a function held in Bombay on April 9, 1960 by the ten organizations, including the Ismailia Federal Council for India, presented an honour to the Egyptian President. Wazir I.S. Haji represented the Ismailis and presented a silver casket to him. Wazir Akbar H. Merchant, the President of Bombay Council garlanded him. When Col. Jamal Nasr departed for Cairo, he sent a message of goodwill to the Federal Council through his Consul in India and admired the Ismaili community. He also sent his photo framed with silver along with an autograph in it. Wazir I.S. Haji sent its report to the Imam on May 6, 1960. Hazar Imam sent following message on May 12, 1960:-
My dear Haji,
I have received your letter of 6th May and am pleased to know that the presentation of the Casket to President Nasser was a success.
During the war between India and China at the end of 1962, Wazir I. S. Haji called an urgent meeting of the Federal Council for India and resolved to make an appeal to the Indian jamats to contribute to the Prime Minister National Defence Fund. The copies of the appeal were read in all Jamatkhanas in India, and it was also endorsed to Zakir Hussain (1897-1969), the President of India on November 8, 1962. The President sent following message on November 12, 1962 that:-
Dear Haji Saheb,
Thank you for your letter of the 8th November.
I am happy to know that an Appeal has been issued by H.R.H. Prince Aga Khans Federal Council for India for contributions to the National Defence Fund. I am deeply touched by the patriotic determination that I know lies behind these efforts. As you know we have difficult times ahead, but with the cooperation of all citizens, we shall, God willing, see through them.
On the other hand, the Imam also sent a telegraphic message to the Indian Ismailis through Federal Council on November 12, 1962 that:-
I am glad my spiritual children in India are solidly supporting Prime Ministers call to nation. I am happy to read your timely and practical Appeal to jamats jointly with local Councils. I expect my spiritual children to do their duty loyally and contribute generously. I give my best loving paternal maternal blessings to them for their sacrifice during National Emergency. Please convey to jamats they are always in my thoughts and near my heart in my prayers for early peace with success. Affectionately Aga Khan.
In response to his call, the Ismailis alone in Bombay contributed Rs. 88,000/- in a day for the Prime Minister Defence Fund. The Ismaili delegation led by Wazir I.S. Haji met Shri Jawaharlal Nehru, the Prime Minister of India at Delhi on December 17, 1962. The delegation presented a letter of the Imam to the Prime Minister, declaring the donation of two lac rupees.
Wazir I. S. Haji retired from Federal Council for India as a President on March 21, 1963. He was invested the title of Alijah, Itmadi and then as a Wazir on March 21, 1960.
He was also a good writer and compiled few articles, such as He Lives in Our Grateful Hearts (Ismaili, Bombay, August 4, 1957), His Highness Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah The Aga Khan III (Ibid. July 13, 1958), My First Political Speech (Ibid. August 10, 1963)
He died on Sunday, October 23, 1966 at Bombay. The Imam sent following telegraphic message:-

Was much grieved to hear of sad demise of Vazir Haji. I send my most affectionate paternal maternal loving blessings for the soul of late Vazir Haji and I pray that his soul rest in eternal peace. Vazir Hajis long devoted services to my jamats of all India as President of my Federal Council for many years and as a member of many institutions in India will always be remembered by my spiritual children and myself. Kindly convey my most affectionate loving blessings to Varasiani Izzatkhanu and family for courage and fortitude in their great loss.
Few words must be added for his wife, Varasiani Izzat Khanum (1899-1984). She was well educated and a keen worker in social welfare field. In 1935, when the Imam established the Health Board Centre Committee in Bombay, she was appointed its member and subsequently became its Hon. Secretary. She was one of the two first lady members of the Ismaili Council in Bombay. In 1939, Imam Sultan Mohammed Shah appointed her as a member of the Governing Body of Kathiawar Health Centre, and she became its Chairperson between 1940 and 1953. In 1946, she worked in several committees during the Diamond jubilee. She organized ladies volunteer in the camps to look after the small children, and was awarded the Gold Medal by the Imam. In 1952, she was summoned at Calcutta, then at Delhi to discuss with the Imam and Mata Salamat on Health Centres and Child Welfare in India. She was vested the title of Huzur Mukhiani, Alijiani and then most coveted title of Varasiani in 1951. Upon the death of her husband, she donated a sum of Rs. 10,000/- to The Ismaili General Hospital, Bombay for a permanent bed in the name of her husband and herself. She died at Bombay on August 18, 1984 at the age of 85 years.

Who is Jesus? Many in the bible wondered the same thing, because he came and stood against the Jewish tradition that had woven itself into the worship of God. The flesh is satisfied with the works of the flesh and Jesus destroyed that. The same issues and spirits that caused problems in that day still move in the church today. Jesus the Christ was against the traditions of man and yet the church today still embraces the traditions of man. Its amazing that even though so many say that we are to worship God in spirit and in truth, they justify themselves by church attendance. Jesus was sickened by the false and vain worship of that time.
Who is Jesus? He was born to a virgin. He was born in a manger. He was a carpenter. He was not in a lineage of Levite priests. He was not the son a preacher. He died on a cross in shame.
Who is Jesus? He is the lamb that was slain since the beginning of time. He came so that we might have an abundant spiritual life through his death and resurrection. He healed and set the oppressed free. The deliverer.
Who is Jesus? Our eternal high priest on the right hand of God. The lamb that covers our sins so they can be seen by God no more. Our only access to the father. The Door.
To many these revelations of Jesus have only surface value. Most don’t understand that Jesus didn’t come for peace but with a sword (Matt 10:34).
JESUS DID NOT COME SO THAT YOU MAY BE A MILLIONAIRE!
Not knowing who Jesus was opens the door for a false messiah or false Jesus. Evil spirits play the minds of the spiritually weak and spiritually arrogant leading to a false realization of Jesus. Those who are children in Christ are easily deceived because they are not grounded in what they believe and let emotion and pressure take them down a spiraling path that leads anywhere but to Jesus Christ. Those who are arrogant in their walk with God believe their revelations that contradict bible teachings, are a revelation to what God is doing now and who Jesus is. They will mix and match catchy ideals and entertaining sermons to fake an anointing from the Holy Spirit thinking all along they are walking with Jesus (Rom. 16:18). They will call on the name of Jesus, not knowing that the Jesus they call on is not the real Jesus the Christ. They will be surprised on the day when Jesus tells them he never knew them. (Matt. 7:22-23). If they were doing great works in the name of Jesus and yet Jesus says he never knew them…….What Jesus were they using? An Imposter? So many powerful works yet without the power of the real Jesus Christ?. I think that this scripture sums is up, (2 Cor. 11:14), “and no marvel, for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light”. Many “Christians” follow Satan without even realizing it. They are a child of disobedience (Satan), by the works of their flesh.
In a lot of Christian churches, Satan has diluted who Jesus Christ really is. Satan replaces faith, spirit, and truth with tradition and works of the flesh. Justifying those worshippers in vain with what they see and feel, yet never coming to a knowledge of truth.

The true Jesus Christ has such a great pull on people that many religions appear to embrace him, yet they are really using him as a token to pull your belief system away from the true Jesus Christ. Muslims embrace Jesus the prophet, Hindus embrace Jesus the enlightened, Wiccans embrace Jesus as part of the “mother earth”. Catholics pair him as a baby next to the great Mother Mary. Mormons put him on a spaceship. These path ways include Jesus Christ but divert you from his true purpose….Salvation of his people. Why do these religions embrace Jesus Christ when he didn’t embrace them? They are embracing an imposter. These doctrines are designed by devils to dilute and destroy a knowledge of the true and living Jesus Christ.

It is situated 6 kilometers from the guru’s ashram and was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister Narasimha Rao on November 22 1991 and was designed by the Prince of Wales’s architectural adviser, Keith Critchlow78 The Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Bangalore is a 333 bed facility with advanced operation theatres, ICUs and CCUs meant to benefit the poor.79 The hospital was inaugurated on January 19 2001 by the then Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee.80 Other eminent participants were Abdul Kalam, Michael Nobel (grandson of Alfred Nobel), Noah Samara and Anji Reddy.81 The hospital has served 250,000 patients, free of cost, from January 2001 to April 2004.82
The Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital was opened in Whitefield, Bangalore, in 1977 by Sathya saibaba photo to provide free care to poor local villagers. Since that time, the general hospital has grown to a 35,000 sq ft (3,300 m2) building that provides complex surgeries, food and medicines free of cost. The hospital has, since its inception, treated over 2 million cases.83
